Garden Chiminea

Garden chimineas are a type of chimenea that is most usually put on the deck or garden. They are often times made out of aluminum and are usually much more mobile than a clay or cast iron version. Many customers will even take them with to their log cabin or summer home for the weekend! These types of chimeneas are often very decorative and smaller to be able to fit in tight garden or deck spaces. Due to their smaller size, they tend to produce less heat. Special concern should be taken not to put your garden chiminea near any flammable garden or deck debris.

Despite their smaller size, garden chimineas can still be used much as their larger big brothers. You can use them for heat or some atmospheric garden light. You can even use them for cooking. Many models offer a grill insert which allows for cooking right from the garden chiminea. They are often offer a hibachi style grill. Check also to see if your grill provides a chiminea cover. Many aluminum chimineas provide a built in cap. If not, be sure to consider a cover as a necessary accessory.
